I thought I’d take some time to write about one of my favourite kinks – medical play. I have a unique advantage in this area, as I’ve had actual medical training. Those who have had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Mindy’s clinic can attest to my enthusiasm! I’ve got a few very eager co-Dommes who are in training as my nurses, which is very exciting.

Of course, each appointment with Dr. Mindy is different, depending on the needs of the patient. Regardless, I like to start off with a basic clinical examination. I instruct the patient to remove their clothing. Then I record height and weight, and make a note of each in my chart. Next, I use my stethoscope to listen to the patient’s heart, and take their blood pressure.

This is where I encounter some interesting results. It seems many of my patients experience mild tachycardia in my presence, though they report no noticeable symptoms. Perhaps I shouldn’t wear a corset in the exam room?

Now it’s time for the physical exam. I must thoroughly examine the patient – check the lymph nodes, take and record temperature, palpate the abdomen, then move on to a genital examination. Donning nitrile gloves, I gently cup the testicles and instruct the patient to cough – standard hernia test. I examine the penis, retracting the foreskin if necessary, checking for any lesions or discharge. I generally use this time to take a few urethral swabs. I’ll send these off to the lab to screen for STI’s.

The last step of the physical is a prostate examination. Dr. Mindy is a firm believer that there is no age men must wait until – the prostate is too important and it’s better to be pro-active, even starting in your 20’s. I apply lubricant to my gloved finger and insert it gently into the patient’s rectum. I probe until I locate the prostate – usually instantly – and then use a gentle stroking motion to establish both the size and the presence of any nodules that might be of concern. This is where a normal physician would stop, but Dr. Mindy is nothing if not thorough. I like to stimulate the prostate and assess the patient’s arousal reaction.

I have had many patients approach me to help assess some level of sexual dysfunction. There are many tests and procedures I offer to shed some light on what the issues may be. From urethral sounding to catheterization, from enemas to intense prostate stimulation, I will leave no stone unturned in the search for answers. I do offer injections and blood drawing where necessary.
